Power In The Word

Key Text: Psalm 33:6-9

When God finished His creation account according to Gen 2:1-3 the bible says thus the heaven and the earth was finished and the host of it and God bless the seventh day and sanctified it and hallow it and Rested from all His work was He had Made, it wasn’t hard for God to create the universe as some people think or Believe but in His appointed time and season He chooses to do according to how He purpose it.

When God created this world no Engineer was there neither any company neither any labourer was present there, but through the spoken word things were in existence imagine how God said let there be light and there was light so the spoken word of God as the authoritative source of creation but if word thoroughly is powerful how come that when I say let there be light and there’s no light it means no faith to get connected in other to receive that power to manifest the will which I purpose in my heart or maybe not yet to accomplish if the Creator commanded not. Psalm testified that Only the name of the Lord alone will be praised because He commanded and they were created.

Only One deserves our praise because His power made everything in place for us to witness today that we may praise His Name. Even our beloved brother Paul commends the people of Hebrew that He upholds all things by the word of His power Heb.1:3, so the word is powerful not as some people speak of what they like but the time comes when all the idle words that men speak will be subject unto judgement according to the account of matt 12:36-37 we ought to speak even in distress, pains, temptation, and grieve.

In John’s gospel John records in john 15:3 that the spoken word of God makes us cleanse and nothing else that can cleanse us except the word of God, Psalm also speaks of it that that word of God cleanses the way of a young man, Psalm 119:9. It is the power in the spoken word that made us be existence as a living being not by our daily food or not by taking care of ourselves but he upholds all things through the power of His spoken word.

John 1:1, in the beginning, was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God and verse 14 if this same chapter says and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So the word existed even today and generation to come even to the coming of our beloved father our Lord Jesus, the word is powerful, the word of God is our hope for years to come and of end of the world.
